  • An early success in 2nd grade. Thanks to a referee who really liked my jokes.

  • Coding was one my first hobbies. So programming a generator for lottery numbers was not a problem at all. My early coding portfolio includes as well a tank battle game coded in Visual Basic and a whole new operation system developed in assembler (unfinished. For sure.)

  • This certificate proves my attendance at a childs birthday at the Berlin Natural history Museum. It was the 30th birthday of my good friend Anne in 2017.

  • As a kid in the middle of nowhere there was not too much to do what excited me. But fishing was one of the rare things I just fell in love with. I am still going fishing these days. It's a thing that frankly means doing almost nothing with one percent of pure focus and attention. Perfect for people who hate doing nothing, but need to relax.

  • After getting the "JuLeiCa"-Certificate I was ofically somebody who could work in kids summer camps. I did take care of a lot of kids although I was still a kid myself. A perfect preparation for being a director.

  • As every german getting a car license I had to do this First aid course. I am still afraid that one day I have to use it. Cause I forgot everything.

  • I was skiing with 40 rich kids from south germany. And I was the only poor kid from east germany. It was a week full of pain. This award was the only good thing.

  • I am good at cooking. Mostly german recipes.

  • I love football. Or soccer if you're american. But as a kid I was super bad at it. So there is no football award. Just this photo of me and my bad ass team.

  • Okay. 2019 I won a Bronze Lion in Cannes for IBIS - Relax we post and two bronze and one gold at "Die Klappe" for ADAC.
2018 I won a german ADC Silver for the SIND promo ("the iPhone video...")
In 2014 I won "Best Newcomer film" at Die Klappe with "Schelle", in the same year I became Young Lions Germany Winner with "Pfand gehört daneben".
In 2012 everything started with a short film called "Edward" which won the FBW "Prädikat besonders wertvoll" - one of the most important german short film recognitions, "Edward" became as well Shortfilm of the month and was screened on different festivals.
Films I did got featured several times on shots.net, MVOD.TV, directorsnotes.com, W&V, Horizont and other publications.
